Bio: Sakuya was born in a small town called Ikeda with his twin sister Emiko. Unlike her, he is more shy and quiet around others. Their family is really strict on tradition and are very well known for their tea ceremonies, or Cha-No-Yu, especially thanks to his grandmother. While his family has a high reputation and are popular among the region, he prefers to keep things to himself, and only shares his thoughts and feelings to his grandparents and Emiko. The only thing he does like to do in their tradition is Japanese painting though, also known as kaiga, and performs it really well; he's not really a fan of tea. Sakuya feels a bit sad as he, along with his twin, hardly see their parents anymore because of their successful business in real estate, but tries his best to remain optimistic, though there are times where he doesn't really show it.

As his sister lost a first and best friend, Sakuya couldn't even gain any at all! Because of his tremendous height compared to Emiko's, even back when they were in kindergarten, other students get easily frightened by how tall he is, and unfortunately don't know that he's really a gentle giant. That is why he doesn't really try to make connections with other people; at one point in his life, he felt so hurt by his inability to make friends that he asked his grandparents if he could get home schooled! During his beginnings to before his first year,  Sakuya was actually being taught at home with his grandfather Yushin, but then Emiko convinced him, alongside her grandmother Kaede, to put him in the school she was in as well. She asked Sakuya as well, and they all eventually agreed, believing that it was best for him to interact with other people. During his first year he was quite nervous and got a lot attention from the basketball club (and girls) due to his height. This caused him to try to hide himself from others. Despite his sister's best attempts to make him more extrovert like she was, he decided to keep to himself once again... He has found an interest in the gardening club though...
